Suit Making
After four years of absence, Aquascutum have announced the return of their made to measure tailoring service at their Jermyn Street store.

Suit Fitting

Head of menswear design, Thomas Harvey, felt that this return to bespoke tailoring was a positive step for the brand’s development.

“The brand was founded by tailor John Emary in 1851, and therefore it seems fitting for tailoring to be at the heart and soul of Aquascutum. Tailoring has always been at a huge passion of mine and is at the centre of everything I do in design.”

Fabric Mill

At the beginning of your appointment, one of their trained suiting specialists will fit you, using a block fitting suit. These suits range from sizes 36-50 and will be perfectly pinned to size.

After this, the choices in personalisation are completely up to you, with the knowledge of our advisers at hand. Prices start from £750.

Fabric Mill

  1. Choose from a range of exclusive and high quality fabrics: Select the colours and cloths for your suit, from the lining to the underside of the collar.

  2. Decide on your cut: Pick which fit works best for you. Do you want single or double breasted? Customise the shape of your lapels, the number of button holes and pockets and whether you want vents.

  3. Select your details: Take control of every component of your purchase. Decide which buttons, elbow patches and threading details work best for you.

A fifty percent deposit will be taken at the appointment and six weeks later, your suit will arrive. A fitting will be done once your suit returns from the factory, to ensure all details are perfect.

If further alterations are required, there will be no added cost and these will be made in-house.

Your measurements and specifications will be kept on file for your next order. To schedule a private, in-store appointment please contact:
