Young rising stars, fashion faces and BAFTA nominated talent were out in force last week at the GQ x Hackett Event in the lead up to the EE British Academy Film Awards. Celebrating  five consecutive years as “The Official Menswear Stylist” to the EE BAFTA’s, luxury menswear brand Hackett in partnership with British GQ hosted a cocktail party at The Savoy’s Beaufort Bar.

Guests included actors Luke Evans, Alex Lawther, Freddie Fox, Toby Kebbell, Henry Lloyd Hughes and Christian Cooke. 2016 BAFTA nominated producer Asif Kapadia (Amy) attended alongside BAFTA and Oscar nominated director Matt Heineman (Cartel Land) and producers Jeremy Thomas and Alan Yentob.

Friends of Hackett and regular faces on the fashion scene David Gandy, Oliver Cheshire, Darren Kennedy, Roxie Nafousi and Poppy Jamie attended. In addition, young British actors Will Tudor, Tom Burke, Johnny Bailey, Arnold Oceng, Michael Fox and James McArdle who featured in GQ’s ‘Can you Hackett?’ film shot by Bryan Adams were present. To commemorate this landmark anniversary year in the partnership, Hackett have released a capsule collection of five dinner jackets fit for the red carpet, entitled ‘Five Golden Years’. Each jacket in Hackett’s ‘Five Golden Years’ collection retails for £550 each and will be available to purchase the day after the EE British Academy Film Awards, Monday 15th February, online at www.hackett.com and exclusively in Hackett’s Sloane Street store.
