The skilful hands of those craftsmen & women who remain committed to their own deep rooted traditions, tell a thousand tales in their own right. Heritage, artisanal craftsmanship and knowledge are being combined, not only to ensure Crockett & Jones remain true to their beliefs, but also to carefully produce the eagerly awaited, Autumn/Winter 2015 retail collection.
Founded in 1879 in Northampton, at the heart of England’s most famous shoemaking town, Crockett & Jones specialise in the manufacture of high quality Goodyear-welted footwear. For men there are 3 ranges produced by Crockett & Jones: Hand Grade, Main Line and Shell Cordovan.
Recognisable classics have been rejuvenated with rich and tempting new colour-ways, practical additions offering simple but effective technical advances, Old and new patterns united with the very best calf leather a shoe manufacturer can offer.
[Skye, Chestnut Burnished Calf / Black Box Calf]
Continuing London’s affiliation with our high leg, full brogue Derby boot Skye, into the new season, we have decided to replace the double leather soles of old, with Dainite rubber. Also taking the liberty to include a new colour-way in black box calf, the first of its kind for Crockett & Jones. The ‘Skye’ really is the limit when looking for a full brogue Derby boot.
[Pembroke, Dark Green Scotch Grain / Dark Brown Scotch Grain]
Full brogue Derby’s are nothing new, and neither is our best-selling Pembroke… Having been a member of Crockett & Jones’ collection for more than 25 years, Pembroke is more than worthy of being brought to the forefront once again. New colour-ways include Dark Green and Dark Brown Scotch Grain. Not yet destined for the archives, Pembroke is as current as ever.
[Galway, Dark Brown Country Calf]
The Dark Brown Country Calf from Crockett & Jones is soft, supple and rich in texture and colour. Getting better with age, a material that you can rely on for many years is almost as important as the styling itself. A high leg, ‘hand pulled up’ apron Derby boot with chunky top eyelets, speed hooks, a storm welt and contrast laces. The end result is rather tempting.
