The Crown Estate and Fortnum & Mason celebrated the opening of London Collections: Men with a delightful cocktail party attended by the great and the good of the fashion industry.

The exclusive event took place in Fortnum & Mason’s prestigious 1707 wine bar, showcasing the very best of men’s accessories from the area.

On display in Fortnum’s crypt were Jermyn Street St James’s brands included Floris, D. R. Harris, Lock & Co., Bates, Budd, Harvie & Hudson, Turnbull & Asser, Sunspel, Hilditch & Key, Emma Willis, Tiger of Sweden, Tricker’s, JM Weston, Dunhill, Osprey London and Aquascutum.

The presentation was perfectly executed by the very talented fashion historian and tailoring ambassador, James Sherwood.

Fortnum’s CEO, Ewan Venters said they were proud to be a part of this landmark event, describing Fortnum’s as one of the original retailers of historic St James’s, and pleased to be seeing it transform and blossom over the years under the careful and considerate regeneration of The Crown Estate. And to enjoy the light refreshments, adding “we’re also quite good at food.”

The world famous department store has hosted our LCM event for the last three seasons, previously showing in The Fountain restaurant and Tea Salon on the top floor.
