Entitled ‘Sheep, Shape and London Fashion’, this new capsule collection pays homage to the prestigious longstanding textile mills in Britain that continue to create the finest wools available worldwide.

For Autumn/Winter 2015, Jeremy reflects on his time working on Savile Row and draws inspiration from British tailor Tommy Nutter who had an unusual method of putting clothes together.

His mixture of piecing together complimenting different sized checks stimulated Jeremy’s designs for the capsule collection. Working closely with renowned mill Fox Brothers & Co, the 12 looks are an amalgamation of different checks and patterns in the finest wools; every piece of cloth represents sophistication, luxury while maintaining the very essence of British tradition.

Wardrobe staples such as three piece suits are brought together in varying checks and pinstripes. The traditional flannel suit is shown in a mixture of grey and navy with contrasting pockets and elbow patches.

In line with Hackett’s support of the wool industry and British cloth, outerwear pieces are heavy in sheepskin and given a military tone that includes a reversible sheepskin coat, reefer jacket and a double breasted military coat.

The final look is a special piece close to Jeremy’s heart. Three years ago, Hackett London in association with Fox Brothers & Co invested in a flock of Wensleydale sheep in Somerset, South-West England. The sheep’s fleeces have now matured and have been woven to produce Hackett’s exclusive own fabric seen in the finale three piece suit.

Hackett London’s ‘Sheep, Shape and London Fashion’ collection is a celebration of luxury wool created by the best of British mills.
