Hackett London were fully involved with dressing the talent at The EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night at the Royal Opera House, London. The Film Awards are the Academy’s highest film honours, rewarding the best work of any nationality seen on British cinema screens during the preceding year.
To celebrate Hackett’s partnership as the Official Menswear Stylist for the fourth consecutive year, Hackett’s dressed some of the biggest names at the 2015 award ceremony including:
Cuba Gooding Jnr. Presenting the award for Best Supporting Actress wore a Hackett Mayfair peak lapel dinner suit, black printed formal waistcoat, formal shirt, silk scarf and tie. Cuba is well known for his roles in “Jerry Maguire”, “Men of Honour” and more recently “The Butler”.
J.K. Simmons. Winner of Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash wore a Hackett Mayfair peak lapel dinner suit, formal Marcella shirt and bow tie. J.K is well known for his roles in “Spiderman”, “The Closer” and more recently his winning title “Whiplash”.
Mark Strong. Presenting the award for Outstanding Debut wore a Hackett Mayfair double breasted dinner suit, pleat front formal shirt and bow tie. Mark is known for his roles in “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, “Sherlock Holmes” and most recently ”Kingsman”.
Sam Claflin. Presenting the award for Best Costume Design wore a Hackett Mayfair peak lapel dinner suit, black printed formal waistcoat, pleat front formal shirt and bow tie. Sam is known for his roles in “The Hunger Games” Films, “The Riot Club” and “Snow White and the Huntsman”. Pictured above with Natalie Dormer.
Hackett continues to support upcoming British actors for the BAFTA Awards. Freddie Fox attended as a Hackett guest alongside Ed Speelers and James Norton.
Freddie is well known for his roles in “The Riot Club”, and most recently in the TV Series “Cucumber” and “Banana”. Freddie is the son of Edward Fox and Joanna David and the younger brother of Emilia Fox. Additionally, young British actors Jack Farthing, Kyle Soller, Noel Clarke and Allen Leech wore Hackett formal attire to the Awards.
On Saturday 7th February, Jeremy Hackett hosted a private dinner to celebrate the BAFTA Fellowship winner Mike Leigh at the Savoy Hotel in London. Guests included some of the most influential names in the British film industry including Imelda Staunton etc etc. Mike Leigh collected his honour at the EE British Academy Film Awards wearing a Hackett Mayfair peak lapel dinner suit and formal pleat shirt.
