Made to Measure gives contemporary gents the opportunity to appreciate the finer points of sartorial style, from a perfectly fitted jacket to a monogrammed pocket square and a lining to match your personality.
Harrods is definitely worth a visit for those seeking perfectly tailored separates, timeless custom-made suits and stylish embellishments from the world’s most prestigious brands.
As in previous years, Made to Measure is set to be an international affair: Brioni and Berluti are presenting the finest examples of Italian artistry; Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren are flying the flag for modern American styling; while Turnbull & Asser and Gieves & Hawkes epitomise the traditional British tailoring of Jermyn Street and Savile Row. And Church’s and Edward Green shoes are involved too.

Corneliani will offer exclusive embroidered monogramming on any garment; the Zilli made-to-measure service is being extended to a selection of belts and blousons; Ralph Lauren Blue and Black Label will monogram dress shirts, ties and pocket squares; Deakin & Francis is offering complimentary engraving on its cuff links.
There will also see a nod to the modern gent’s need for luxurious casuals, such as loungewear and denim, with Brioni offering a made-to-order denim service alongside its classic tailoring.Throughout the event, style experts will be on hand to offer advice on dressing for summer – a season that requires careful consideration of colour palettes and fabrics to balance comfort and style.
There will also be a showcase of the exciting new range of exclusive-to-Harrods fabrics from global fashion houses; these will include Tom Ford, Canali, Brioni and Gieves & Hawkes – whose creative director, Jason Basmajian, will be in-store during the weekend to talk through the brand’s SS15 collection and provide tips for working the new fabric into a sartorial summer wardrobe.
Men’s International Collections on the Ground Floor continues to feature brands that offer made-to-measure services at a range of price points, while maintaining the unrivalled quality and attention to detail with which Harrods is synonymous. Along with Men’s Accessories on the Lower Ground Floor and Tom Ford, newly opened on the Ground Floor, this highlights the diverse choice available at Harrods.
Jason Broderick, the store’s director of Menswear, Sports and Fine Watches, says: “We are thrilled to present our biannual Made to Measure event, dedicated to custom-made tailored goods. This season, we will be celebrating the modern man’s wardrobe revival, and focusing on luxury casual pieces such as bespoke leather jackets and made-to-order denim. The sheer range of made-to-measure apparel is something that we are proud to be championing this season.”
Made to Measure will take place in-store from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd March.
