Last night Jamie Oliver launched the second of his steakhouse restaurants, Barbecoa, with a host of celebrity friends and family. The Hemsley sisters, Tanya Burr, Jim Chapman, Phillip Schofield, Ronan Keating and others celebrated the opening with Jamie Oliver. The restaurant, a classic steakhouse reimagined, offers all day dining taste experiences, from fabulous breakfasts to afternoon teas, lunch and dinner and an impressive bar serving cocktails. Reflecting Jamie Oliver’s dedication to meticulous sourcing from farmers and producers who share his food ethos, the meat at Barbecoa all comes from free-range, grass-fed animals. Guests were entertained by Ross Allen on the decks and treated to wines from the restaurant’s 2,500-bottle strong collection. Berry Bros. & Rudd house champagne, along with the new restaurant’s signature Berkeley Blazer were served, accompanied by a large selection of Barbecoa’s signature dishes, including scallop ceviche and pit beef. All available from the new menu.
Barbecoa opens its doors to the public on 13 February, 196 Piccadilly
