The AW15 presentation entitled, ‘The Last Man Standing’ was a celebration of British manufacturing and the brand’s rich heritage which dates back 100 years to the very same factory in Manchester in which the collections are produced.
Taking place at 15 Bateman Street in Soho, the informal presentation delighted press, bloggers and buyers alike, with a handful of notable celebrity attendees including Made in Chelsea’s Andy Jordan, Singer Bipolar Sunshine and US rap star Wiz Khalifa present at the event.
Private White V.C.’s deep manufacturing history was clear to see, with photographs from the Manchester factory and props such as stacks of clothing patterns decorating the interior.
The AW15 range was displayed by six male models, showcasing the brand’s signature outerwear styles as well as newly developed staples like knitwear, separates and footwear.
The collection celebrates the military and British influences which are key to the brand, with a new range of styles and elements including formal tailored pieces, wax jackets and never-before-used fabrics like Venetian; a luxurious, densely woven wool.
