Recently we visited the Mayfair Pizza Co. as we were keen to try their new pizza menu especially created for the Game Season.

The restaurant is celebrating the Glorious Twelfth and onwards with their new game inspired pizzas. Bringing all the gritty butchery and blood of the countryside to the glossy heart of Mayfair, the menu is sure to shoot you into the season with a bang!

We ordered the Mary’s Lamb pizza which was very tasty! Thin ‘n’ crispy pizza base combined with ‘gloriously’ seasonal topping, this was certainly designed for serious meatlovers. We also enjoyed a bottle of red wine and a dessert- all very delicious!

There is also a section of other game inspired pizzas available in stages throughout the game season, this hit-list of two more limited edition pizzas are below.

Donald Dies

Donald Dies: (£15) –1st-31st October
As a sweeter treat, traditional French delicacy foie gras alongside smoked mallard dress a sweet and sour tomato base, sugar-coated with pickled plums and pain d’epice.

BambiMeatsItaly Game Pizza

Bambi Bites: (£13) – 1st-30th November
Built on a base of tomato and redcurrant pureé, this hearty pizza is the ultimate game choice this season. With every inch covered in succulent venison carpaccio and seasoned venison tartare and decorated with beetroot, fresh wild rocket and figs, this pizza is worth stalking.

The butcher, baker (and occasional candlestick maker) behind these seasonal game pizzas is Executive Chef Michael Lecouteur, the man
behind London’s hottest and dessert pizzas. Pizzas are served in the casual first floor dining room, so you can dine whilst enjoying the view of the beautiful courtyard of Lancashire Court, Mayfair.

Running throughout the summer through to autumn, Mayfair Pizza Co. will serve up this glorious game menu that truly showcases the spoils of the season. Don’t miss out, take aim and fire foodies. We’d recommend a visit!
