2016 marks a milestone for Brian Lishak, his sixtieth year on Savile Row and for Richard Anderson it will mark fifteen years at 13 Savile Row.
To celebrate this significant landmark, Richard Anderson will be hosting a cocktail reception at The Carlyle Hotel in New York on Wednesday 16th November. The Carlyle Hotel is a home from home to the master tailor and is where Brian has continued to stay for over six decades while travelling to America for ‘The Row’.
To celebrate this anniversary the tailors have commissioned several exclusive cloths in designs that Brian was selling sixty years ago; some of which have not been available for decades but are still very much loved and will be displayed on the evening.
Founders Richard Anderson and Brian Lishak have always hoped to give life back to style icon and British institution, Savile Row. Richard and Brian share a passion for fine English clothing and have worked on ‘The Row’ all of their working lives, dressing every nationality, rank and personality imaginable. Richard started as a 17 year old apprentice at one of the great houses and served a most traditional apprenticeship under Colin Hammick, one of the greats of tailoring and Brian, who is in his sixth decade on the row, started at an even more tender age.
Richard Anderson Ltd opened in 2001 and was the first bespoke tailoring House to open on The Row in 50 years. Combined with over 100 years of experience on Savile Row, Richard Anderson and Brian Lishak represent the perfect combination of tradition and innovative creativity.
