On 21st February, Serpentine Galleries will partner with leading luxury design house Coach for the 2015 Future Contemporaries Party. The event will take place, for the first time, in the Serpentine Sackler Gallery and now in its 8th year the Future Contemporaries Party is an unmissable highlight in London’s social calendar.

The party will feature a live performance by LA band Warpaint, as part of the Coach Backstage concert series, and sets by international renowned DJs will ignite the dance floor.

The anarchic spirit of beat poetry will be invoked by Wholly Communion Verbal Disco, involving some of the UK’s most exciting young artists and poets, including Rachel Aleen, Kit Burke, Sophie Collins, Harland Miller and Sam Riviere.

Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with an immersive site-specific installation made exclusively for the event by artist Gary Baseman, who has collaborated with Coach on their upcoming collection.

The annual fundraiser organised by the Serpentine’s young patrons and one of the hottest tickets in the art world’s social calendar was set up in 2007, to encourage closer engagement with contemporary art by younger art lovers and was one of the earliest schemes of its kind in the UK. With a particular focus on emerging talent, funds raised go towards maintaining free entry at the Serpentine’s two central galleries.
