Fortnum's
Claudia Winkleman will unveil the most iconic festive windows in London on Monday 3 November.

Fortnum & Mason, the country’s finest food and drink shop on Jermyn Street, marks the countdown to Christmas with the unveiling of its famous windows and gets the season underway with a seasonal store-wide celebration.

This year’s event will be a true Christmas extravaganza. Fortnum’s friend and Strictly Come Dancing co-host Claudia Winkleman will be pressing the button to reveal the windows at 5:30pm, before inviting customers into the Piccadilly store for an evening of seasonal fun.

Jermyn Street: The Countdown to Christmas begins at Fortnum’s

Once inside, guests will discover merriment across the store, and enjoy a veritable feast of festive fare. Fortnum’s will be serving everything from succulent mini hot turkey rolls to delectable Christmas pudding ice cream, mince pies, Florentines and shortbread. There’ll be plenty of Christmas tea, while those seeking festive spirit will be able to sip Absinthe, Hendricks’s gin, Grey Goose vodka, and the perennial festive favourite, mulled wine.

For those looking for inspiration with the all-important Christmas shopping, enjoy personalised gifting services with a number of Fortnum’s experts in jewellery, fine china and accessories,  including Rory Dobner, Richard Brendon, Halycon Days and Grossmith.

As if that’s not enough, guests will be able to try their hand at candy cane making and building gingerbread houses – and enjoy the company of a few surprise visitors.  Promising to deliver all the fun of the fayre, in-store activities will run between 5:00pm and 8:00pm on Monday 3 November with food and drink served throughout. Pop down if your on Jermyn Street as it’s an occasion not to be missed.
